Probate
When a loved one dies, their assets may be subjected to probate administration. Submitting a Will to probate, or transferring non-probate assets to the deceased’s loved ones can be a daunting process.
I will assist you in all facets of this process including liquidating, transferring, and selling assets, as well as identifying debts that may need paid. I will diligently guide an Executor or Administrator throughout this probate process.
I also handle guardianship cases (for both minors and incompetents), and adoptions.
Real Estate
I am experienced in real estate matters such as: purchase agreements, leases, land installment contracts, quit claim deeds, joint and survivorship deeds, transfer on death affidavits, and lot splits. I also handle landlord/tenant matters such as evictions.
I can assist you in selling your home by owner by preparing a Real Estate Purchase Agreement and representing you from initial contract through final closing. I can save you a great deal of money by not involving a real estate agent. I have working relationships with several local title insurance companies that I use in this process and I will represent you throughout this process.
Estate Planning
I advise clients, both individuals and spouses, as to all aspects of what a complete estate plan may be comprised of including Wills, Trusts, health care directives and financial powers of attorney.
I will ensure that your loved ones understand what your wishes are in the event that you pass away or become incapacitated and unable to manage your affairs.
I am an attorney that often travels to a client’s home, nursing home, assisted living facility, or a hospital in order to assist a client or family member with end of life estate planning needs.
Elder Law
I will assist you in the intricacies of long- term Medicaid planning and guide you through the application process which can be very complicated without the assistance of an attorney.
I have great compassion for my elderly clients that may be incompetent or alone, or in need of advice in the spend down process to qualifying for Medicaid.
I can assist you with the Medicaid application process and annual reviews to ensure that you or a loved one is fairly represented. I will also assist you or your family in connecting with companies that make downsizing into condominiums, assisted living facilities and skilled care nursing homes a smooth and caring transition.
About Me
Following graduation from Capital Law School in 1993, I began practicing in Wellington, Ohio, the town I grew up in. I began practicing as a sole practitioner in 2010. I practice in the areas of Real Estate, Probate and Estate planning and serve clients in Lorain, Medina, Cuyahoga, Summit, Erie and Huron Counties. I am licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio, and I am currently a member of the Ohio State Bar, Lorain and Medina County Bars, and the American Bar Association.
I volunteer as an attorney for Hospice for the Western Reserve. I also serve as a board member for “Ears to You”, a non-profit dedicated to bringing joy to cancer patients. I am dedicated to the Wellington community, formerly serving as past President and Treasurer for the Wellington Kiwanis.

I am an attorney that values the relationship with my clients and offers professional and friendly advice. I often visit clients in area nursing homes, hospitals, and in their homes.
I focus on estate and medicaid planning for the elderly and will work with family members to determine the best strategy for their loved ones.
